Vista Point Board of Directors

  • President

Following their son and daughter-in-law, Louis and JoAnne Tanner moved to Vista Point in 2018. When the Homeowners Association (HOA) transitioned to a resident-run board in 2020, Louis was elected, marking the beginning of his deep community involvement. He retired from his 40-year high-tech career in 2022, and the adoption of three grandchildren further cemented his focus on Vista Point life. After serving as the HOA's treasurer, Louis was elected board president in 2023. He now lists the HOA as one of his core hobbies, alongside travel and photography.

  • Vice President

Lynn Gingras-Taylor volunteered to fill a long-vacant seat on the Board in August, 2022, and currently serves as vice president. She and her husband moved to Vista Point in 2019 after she retired from the Figge Art Museum, where she was a museum educator. On the Board, she works closely with SunScape on VP landscaping and contributes to the VP newsletter. She published her first novel (Drawn to Murder) last April. You'll see her out walking with Franny, their tripod rescue dog.

  • Treasurer

Mindy Bayer joined the Board via appointment in November of 2023 as Treasurer. She comes to the Board with 20 years experience in the banking industry, the last 10 years as President of Austin FCU. She has lived in Vista Point since 2017 with her son, husband and dog and loves all types of crafting in her spare time. Mindy also enjoys serving on the Engagement Committee to plan events, admin the Facebook Group and contribute to the Vista Point Life Newsletter.
